Call for Contributions to Networks issue 15
The theme for Networks 15, to be published in October, will be resources for learning and teaching. The issue will provide an opportunity to explore the people, roles, spaces and materials at the core of art, design and media learning in higher education.
We welcome proposals for features articles, for this and subsequent
issues. A fee of £300 is payable to authors of those features
accepted for publication.
We are also interested in receiving news items, evaluative event reports, project reports and reviews.
Deadline for contributions for issue 15: Thursday, 1 September 2011.
Networks is written by colleagues involved in higher education teaching and learning in art, design and media subjects. Up until now Networks has been predominantly a hard-copy publication distributed free of charge to those who have signed up for it and who work in the sector. Approximately 3,000 academic and support staff receive Networks and readers tell us that the news, features, projects and reviews impact on their teaching practice in positive ways. Many contributors use Networks to share their research with a broad audience where it can have genuine impact.
The first online-only issue of Networks (issue 13), exploring relationships between technology and art, design and media higher education, was published online on 6 May Networks online.
Networks issue 14, to be published online in July, will reflect the theme of our Annual Forum, Shaping Things to Come, and is currently being prepared.
