SEDA Research and Evaluation Small Grants 2011
SEDA’s Research and Evaluation Small Grants support research and evaluation in staff and educational development with the goal of continued improvement in the quality and understanding of educational development practices.
SEDA members, or staff working in institutions that hold institutional SEDA membership are eligible to apply.
£500 is available for individual projects; up to £1000 for proposals with one or more partners from other institutions.
Submissions to be made by the deadline 14 January 2011
The small grants are intended to support research (including action research) into and/or evaluation of educational development practice. Projects should either lead directly to improvements in educational development practice or increase our understanding of educational development in higher education.
There are no specific themes for this call. Past projects have covered a range of themes, including: change in higher education, e-learning, HE in FE, supporting diversity, developing and implementing learning and teaching strategies.
Proposals must be submitted using the proposal form available on the SEDA website by the deadline of Friday 14 January 2011.
