Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) 2011
The Higher Education Academy (HEA) are pleased to confirm that Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) will run for a third consecutive year in 2011, following feedback from institutions and in response to the increased interest in the postgraduate learning experience across the UK HE sector.
PTES 2011 will take place over a flexible survey period between February and May 2011, alongside the Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (PRES) 2011 which will run in a fixed survey period in Spring 2011. The HEA will provide more details and invite institutions to formally register participation in September 2010. If your institution is interested in PTES, please contact email@example.com expressing your institution’s 'in principle' interest in participating.
The final report of the national aggregated results of PTES 2010 is now available to download from http://www.heacademy.ac.uk/ourwork/supportingresearch/postgraduatework.
The survey results for 2010 are remarkably similar to those for 2009, despite the larger number and greater diversity of participating institutions and students. As well as comparing the national PTES 2010 results with those of PTES 2009, the report presents a more detailed analysis of the Skills and Personal Development and Career and Professional Development scales.
