Picshare UK project
Do you own or manage an online image collection?
The Picshare UK project would like to hear from you in their short online survey, which can be found by following the 'questionnaire link' from the project website at:
The Picshare UK project is looking into the issues associated with sharing image records across the visual arts and cultural heritage sector. Through consultation with the owners and managers of digital image collections from universities, colleges, museums, not-for-profit organisations, and commercial image libraries across the UK, the exercise will gain an overview of the issues, barriers, and motivations for a 'national network of images', as envisioned by the JISC Images Working Group.
There are 15 questions which they would ask you to answer as fully or as simply as you like, and to complete by Friday 7 March 2008. They will publish a list of all the organisations that participate in the project, but they will treat your answers in confidence.
This project is being carried out on behalf of the Joint Information Systems Committee (JISC) and the Higher Education Academy, by the Visual Arts Data Service (VADS).
If you have any questions or would like to discuss any of the issues raised in more detail, please contact VADS at 01252 892723 or email@example.com
