Teaching Creative Practice
- Cornerstone Campus, Liverpool Hope University
- 8 July 2008 10:00-16:00
If you work in academic development, learning co-ordination or student support within the art design media community this day is for you.
This is the second of a series of seminars covering issues relating to learning and teaching in Art, Design and Media taking place on 8 July 2008 at the Cornerstone Campus, Liverpool Hope University.
Liverpool is The European Capital of Culture 2008 and we are delighted to be holding our second learning and teaching day in this auspicious location.
‘Teaching Creative Practice’ is intended to formalise a network of colleagues who are directly involved in learning and teaching in art, design and media, such as academic developers and learning and teaching co-ordinators. The aim is to inform and support those colleagues and to encourage the sharing and dissemination of expertise, interests and research.
Importantly, the event is a chance for colleagues to get together informally, share views, discuss opportunities and create future collaborative ventures.
The outline of the day has been formulated as a direct result of the feedback gained at last year’s very successful event held in London. The day will include presentations, workshops and networking opportunities.
The event will be evaluated through feedback forms to help us shape future output and a report will be produced to capture key information that can help colleagues in future developments.
If you wish to register interest in the event please do so below.
Your place will not be confirmed until you have completed a booking
form and received confirmation from us.
Please note that this event is free of charge for staff working within HE in the UK. However, in cases of non-attendance without adequate notice, institutions will be invoiced £50 to cover costs incurred.
