Refreshing PG Certificates in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education
- University of Sussex, Brighton
- 6 May 2009 12:00-17:00
An event for staff involved in designing postgraduate certificates in teaching and learning (academic practice/higher education).
This follows the pattern of other pre-conference workshops at previous SEDA conferences. Participants at past events supported the idea of continuing with similar sessions. This event will concentrate on three case study presentations and will include opportunities for discussion and the sharing of good practice:
- Working with professional bodies: mapping the PG cert
- Moving from the School of Education to the central EDU
- Growing the numbers: encouraging more staff to take up the PG cert
By setting up this event, SEDA hopes to strengthen the already-existing networks of coordinators and tutors, with a combination of formal and informal opportunities for sharing experience.
If you will be attending the SEDA Spring Teaching, Learning and Assessment Conference 2009 at the Thistle Hotel in Brighton, then you can book overnight accommodation for the night of Wednesday 6th May via the conference registration form available at www.seda.ac.uk.
The event costs £65
