Portfolio Advice Day
- ICA London
- 8 February 2006 00:00
The portfolio advice day held at the Institute of Contemporary Arts
London on Wednesday 8 February 2006 was a highly successful initiative
to encourage more students from non-traditional backgrounds to apply to
study Art Design and Media courses in higher education.
Tutors from a range of art and design colleges, including University of the Arts London, University for the Creative Arts and the University of Brighton, provided advice, insight and guidance to students from schools and further education colleges.
The portfolio advice day was an Arts Aimhigher London widening participation project, part of the Government's drive to open up further and higher education to students from non-traditional backgrounds.
Carolyn Bew, Academic Developer at ADM-HEA attended the event. Read her report of an interactive interview skills workshop here.
