The Higher Education Academy announce the third seminar in the Disability Equality Partnership (DEP) funded research seminar series, on the theme of Inclusive Policy and Practice.
Inclusive Practice: Rhetoric or Reality? by Professor Dan Goodley (keynote), Dr Ann Walker, Dr Lisa Reidy, Dr Manny Madriaga
Keynote presentation: Towards a socially-just pedagogy with disabled students (Dan Goodley)
Research paper presentation 1: The reality of the FE-to-HE transition for disabled students: a case study (Ann Walker and Lisa Reidy).
Research paper presentation 2: Experiences of students with Asperger Syndrome making their transition into university (Manny Madriaga).
There are 40 free places available for this seminar, and these will be allocated on a strictly first-come-first served basis. You should await confirmation of a place before attending. Presentation material will be made available to delegates in advance of the seminar.
