Second annual conference on 'Developing an Inclusive Curriculum'.

This year's event is organised by the Higher Education Academy, to include the subject centres for Psychology; English; History, Classics and Archaeology; Philosophical   and Religious Studies; and Geography, Earth and Environmental Sciences (GEES). 

Dr Bonnie Gray and Dr Paul Grocoff will lead the morning programme and give a keynote address on their Diversity Infusion Programme. This American programme enhances the ability of faculty to create a positive learning and teaching experience that includes awareness, understanding, appreciation and respect for all people.

The day will also include disciplinary workshops in the afternoon organised by five of the Academy's subject centres (see above). There will be a generic workshop to explore curriculum development and delivery issues in the context of teaching a diverse student body for those attending from other disiciplines. There will also be an opportunity to learn about relevant projects and resources.
